Your Academic Plan
Each year students are required to take six courses, including physical education. Ninth graders are required to take a health course first semester and a technology research skills course second semester. All other technology courses are electives that can be taken over the course of your four years. Electives can also be taken as a seventh course, including the Virtual High School courses (VHS).
In making your selections, keep in mind your interests and abilities, the prerequisites for each course, and the graduation requirements. Think long range. What major do you hope to pursue in college? Which college would you like to attend? We encourage you to challenge yourself by taking courses beyond the minimum graduation requirements. Consult teachers, department chairpersons, guidance personnel, or administrators if you need assistance.
