Transfer students
At Fontbonne Academy we embrace young women who are seeking their true compass. Making a transition to Fontbonne during high school is a great choice for many students.
You may be looking for a new direction, more one:one attention, a culture of respect, a culture of academic challenge. You will find that and more at Fontbonne Academy. The faculty and staff at Fontbonne work with each student to reach her true potential and offer a moral compass of what we call “the four Rs” of respect, reverence, reconciliation and responsibility to guide the way. By welcoming changes in your high school career, you are already much like a Fontbonne woman, a “woman of courage,” charting a new course.

HOW DO I APPLY?
In order to transfer to Fontbonne Academy a student will need to fill out an application for admission. They need to send the application, a $30 application fee, teacher recommendations, high school and middle school transcripts, any educational testing (MCAS) completed essays and discipline report to Fontbonne Academy attention transfer coordinator, Mrs. Maura Lamadore Spignesi. Students are also asked to send a copy of an English paper from their current English class. The application will be reviewed and an interview will be scheduled. Upon acceptance, students will be required to take course placement tests.

A complete application to Fontbonne Academy requires the following three steps:
1. Application
All applicants to Fontbonne must complete and file an application, including the Application form, a Parent Information form and a Teacher Recommendation, with the Admissions Office.

2. School transcripts
A copy of the transcript records from the 7th grade to the present is required and must be mailed to the Fontbonne Admissions Office.

3. Application fee
A $30 application fee should be included with the application. Checks are made payable to Fontbonne Academy.
