Payment Options
Fontbonne Academy currently offers three payment plans: single payment, (2) semi-annual payments one in July and one in December, and (10) monthly payments from July through April. The multiple payment plans are managed solely through FACTS Management, a company engaged by Fontbonne to manage the tuition payment process. FACTS also offers a tuition insurance plan. More information about FACTS can be found at www.factsmgt.com. Enrollment in Fontbonne’s payment plans is available via the FACTS link below. Click on the image to access the site.

Loan Option
We are enrolled in Your Tuition Solution, a program that offers tuition loans to families of Fontbonne Academy. If you are interested in this option, click on the link to Your Tuition Solution.
If you have any questions about tuition payments, please contact Mary Carnell at 617.615.3029 or by email at mcarnell@fontbonneacademy.org.
Merit Scholarships
Fontbonne Academy awards a limited number of partial academic scholarships based upon high school placement test scores, academic transcripts, the student application, and recommendations during the award process. Fontbonne is pleased to recognize and encourage young women coming to high school with a record of academic achievement. Merit scholarships are awarded to incoming freshwomen only. Scholarships are not negotiable and are renewed as the student maintains a high level of academic achievement, conduct and social contribution to the community.
Financial Aid
Financial Aid for Applicant Families (Grade 9) Fontbonne Academy also awards students need-based financial aid in the form of work study grants to help defray the cost of tuition. Students are assigned various jobs on campus carried out before and after school, and during unscheduled time.
Applicants for the Class of 2017
Parents (grade 9 entry in September 2013) who wish to apply for need-based financial aid must do so between November 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012. Applications for financial aid need to be completed online via FACTS Management, a company engaged by the school to process all financial aid applications and make an initial assessment about each family's need. (More information about FACTS can be found at www.factsmgt.com.) All final financial aid decisions are made by a committee at Fontbonne Academy, and the awards come from Fontbonne Academy, not FACTS. The Financial Aid Committee requires both custodial and non-custodial parents to apply online to FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment. In addition, the resources of stepparents should be included in the information provided online. Financial aid offers for incoming students are mailed with acceptance letters. Students receiving offer letters must return them, with signature indicating acceptance of financial aid offer, along with their registration forms. Students who do not return these two forms by the deadline risk the loss of their aid, as well as their placement at Fontbonne. PLEASE NOTE: Late applicants and/or registrants may receive consideration for financial aid in Spring 2013, but there is no guarantee any aid will remain available after the deadlines have passed. Those who apply and register by the published deadlines have the best chance of receiving aid. Freshwomen who are late applying and/or registering may have to wait until 10th grade for consideration. Please do not submit a financial aid application before November 1, 2012. Any information submitted prior to November 1, 2012 will be lost at midnight on October 31, 2012 as FACTS clears their system in preparation for the November 1, 2012 financial aid application starting date.
For families who are applying to Fontbonne Academy for entrance in Fall 2013: When applying for financial aid you must also submit your 2011 tax returns to FACTS (disregard the request for 2012 tax information that is on the application) – we work closely with FACTS and because of our application deadline, they are expecting only 2011 tax returns from new Fontbonne Academy applicants. The Financial Aid Committee will only review complete applications which include the 2011 tax returns. Initial awards will be made contingent upon final verification of your 2012 tax returns which must be submitted to FACTS no later than April 15, 2013.
Financial Aid for Currently Enrolled Families (Grades 9-11)
Currently enrolled Freshwomen (Class of 2016), Sophomores (Class of 2015) and Juniors (Class of 2014) requesting need-based financial aid must apply by March 31, 2013 for the 2013-2014 school year and are expected to submit the 2012 tax returns with this application. We have changed our application deadline in order to ensure that all applications/tax information have adequate time to be verified by FACTS before the Financial Aid Committee meeting. Fontbonne Academy cannot award financial aid if a family's application and tax returns have not been verified by FACTS.
Please note that current recipients of financial aid must re-apply and resubmit their information to FACTS each year.
Awards are based primarily on a family's demonstrated financial need. The Financial Aid Committee at Fontbonne Academy will make the final determination on aid grants based on our available resources. Using the FACTS website is the only way for families to apply for financial aid.
